This article is to be going through how to register and install Toontrack MIDI Packs.

This guide is being created on OS X 10.6 with Toontrack Session Drums MIDI being used inside of EZdrummer.

Please note: the Session Drums MIDI extension pack requires you to already have either EZdrummer or Superior Drummer. For more information on how to install EZdrummer, please see our knowledge base article here.

When you have purchased the Session Drums MIDI Pack from the Time+Space website, you will be sent your registration number in an email.

You will need to login to your Toontrack user account and register your product before you can download it.

Once your Session Drums MIDI Pack has been registered, select it from the right hand menu, under the MIDI Packs header and select to Download Product for your chosen system (PC or Mac).

Once the download is complete you will need to run the Installer.

Upon accepting the End User License Agreement, you will be prompted with the install directory location, leave this as the default location and click Install.

You can check that this is in the correct location with the other Toontrack MIDI files by following the install location.

OSX 10.6 > Library > Application Support > EZdrummer > Midi

After the install is complete, there should be a folder 000351@SESSION_DRUMS

Now that the install is complete and in the correct location with the other Toontrack MIDI files, you can check that you can use the Session Drums MIDI Pack.

Once inside your chosen host application, or inside of Toontrack solo, select EZdrummer. Select the Open Grooves tab and check under the Add-on Packs tab for the Session Drums.

For more information on EZdrummer and Superior Drummer, please see our knowledge base article here.
